About Submerge Radio
‘Submerge’ is a podcast dedicated to exploring the various ways our perceptions and beliefs about water can shape our relationship with it.
I'm Brynn O'Donnell, the host, editor, and producer of Submerge (so, yes, it's a bi-monthly podcast). I'm an aquatic biogeochemist (which is a fancy way of saying that I study carbon and nutrients in rivers and streams). I'm also a strong advocate of science communications. This podcast started because as I delved further into environmental science, I realized that the natural world as we know it is largely shaped around our interaction with it. With that in mind, I aim to explore what our relationship with water - in all of its forms - looks like across different scenarios, cultures, generations, etc. What does water mean to you? |
